Focus Rounds keeps you honest about deep work: you focus for a full round, a bell rings, and your break starts on its own — no clock-watching, no fiddling with timers between phases. When the break is over, the next round begins automatically.

The default is 2 hours of work with a 15-minute break, a rhythm that fits long creative or technical sessions. Prefer something shorter? Switch to 90/15, 52/17 or classic 25/5 Pomodoro with one tap, or set your own durations. Everything runs in your browser and survives a page reload.

What is it for?

  • Long deep-work sessions: writing, coding, design, studying.
  • Keeping a healthy rhythm: regular breaks without watching the clock.
  • Freelancers timeboxing client work into clean, countable rounds.

FAQ

What happens when a round ends?

A short bell rings and the break countdown starts automatically. When the break ends, another bell rings and the next work round starts on its own.

Can I change the 2 h / 15 min rhythm?

Yes. Use the presets (90/15, 52/17, 25/5) or open “Custom durations” and set any work and break length you like.

Will it keep running if I switch tabs or reload?

Yes. The countdown is anchored to real time, so it stays exact in background tabs and survives page reloads. The remaining time also shows in the tab title.

Why 2-hour rounds instead of 25-minute Pomodoros?

Deep, complex work often needs long uninterrupted stretches to get into flow. Two hours is enough to go deep; the 15-minute break lets your head recover before the next round.

Is anything uploaded or tracked?

No. The timer runs entirely on your device and your settings are stored only in your browser.
